Brussels Airlines – a new air company in the list of clients of flyLAL Technics

 

 

Aircraft technical maintenance and repair company flyLAL Technics, AB signed an agreement with the biggest Belgian air company Brussels Airlines on periodical technical maintenance of its aircraft Boeing 737 to be carried out in Vilnius. This agreement expanded the circle of flyLAL Technics clients and confirmed wide recognition of the Lithuanian company.

flyLAL forecasts significant decrease in travellers’ flows

 

flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines sustained positive growth rates in November, if compared with the last year, but flows of passengers are forecasted to decrease by one third during this winter season.

The total number of passengers carried by flyLAL on its regular and charter flights was 45 667, which accounted for 37% of the passengers market of Vilnius International Airport. More

 

In the updated flyLAL portal, tickets for business clients are free of service charge

 

flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines announces completion of updating of its administered travel service portal www.flylal.com. Business clients booking tickets online will no longer be charged service fee. All visitors of the new version portal will find a bigger number and more convenient control functions allowing faster selection and acquisition of travel services. More

 

flyLAL is already selling tickets to flights from Palanga to London and Dublin

 

In the summer flight season flyLAL Lithuanian – airlines will again operate flights from Palanga airport to London and Dublin. Flights from Palanga will commence on April 4th.

Lithuanian company engaged in aircraft lease business “Avia Asset Management” leased aircraft “Boeing 737-300” to Danish air company “Jet Time”. It is the first aircraft of “Avia Asset Management” leased to a company from Western Europe. Baltic Ground Services leaves Kaunas Airport

 

A ground handling company Baltic Ground Services reports on its termination of service provision at Kaunas Airport.

“Starting the provision of ground services we expected that Kaunas Airport would actively develop its business, would attract more air carriers, and that number of passengers would increase”, said Saulius Batavičius, Director of Baltic Ground Services. “Unfortunately, presently only one air company regularly carries passengers from Kaunas Airport. Pilot training simulator Boeing 737 has been put into operation in Vilnius

 

Pilot training simulator Boeing 737 has been installed and put into operation in the new training centre of company flyLAL Training.  It is the first simulator of this type in service in Lithuania. From now, not only theoretical but also practical pilots’ training is provided in Vilnius, which until now was available in foreign countries only.
