The number of flyLAL passengers has topped half a
million In eight months of the current year the air company flyLAL
surpassed the results of the whole previous year. January till August inclusive more than
half a million of passengers travelled by flyLAL’s aircraft. In twelve months
of the previous year 475 000 passengers were transported. More flyLAL

application for registration of the Avia Asset Management trademark. It

in England. The specialists who will work in flyLAL Training centre in
Vilnius are the first representatives of this profession in Lithuania. Engineers
of this particular speciality have been trained after acquisition by flyLAL
Training centre Boeing 737 simulator - the first of this type in Lithuania. Training
with the Boeing 737 simulator will be provided to the first students this

flyLAL income from cargo
transportation rose more than by one third flyLAL –
Lithuanian airlines earned 37% more income from cargo transportation business
in the second quarter of 2008. In the second quarter of 2008, flyLAL carried
417 t of cargo, i.e. 46.40% more if compared with the same period in 2007.
36.01% more mail and cargo there were transported to compare to second
quarter of 2007. In the first half of this year, the total cargo volume
increased by 18.6%, income earned from cargo transportation in the first half
of 2008 were 18.5% higher than the income received in the respective period
