The Lithuanian aviation business group Avia Solutions Group announces of its establishment of the company  flyLAL Charters Eesti in Estonia. The company will provide the passenger carrying and freight transportation services by carrying out flights from Estonia to various regions of Europe, Asia and Africa. The flights will be conducted on the Boeing 737-300 aircraft.

 

“Having a strong technical base in Lithuania, we decided to start expansion from the geographically closest region. For some time already Lithuanian company flyLAL Charters, part of ASG, had carried out charter flights from Estonia. The experience has shown that there is a considerable demand for charter flights in this country, so we decided to establish here a separate airline company. For that purpose, we had trained personnel, formed aircraft park and signed charter flights contracts with customers and, what is more important, with tour operators,” said Linas Dovydenas, CEO Avia Solutions Group.

 

According to Mr Dovydenas, it is expected that in 2009 flyLAL Charters Eesti will fly at least 90 000 passengers. The planned flight destination countries are Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt and Spain.
