Last Year the BPC Travel turnover increased more than twice 2009.01.27

The last year’s turnover of one of the largest Lithuanian travel agencies BPC Travel that belongs to the group of the Lithuanian airline companies increased more than twice and reached 55 million Litas (compared with 25 million Litas in 2007). This year the company plans to retain its market position and continue to pay much attention to increasing the level of employees’ professional qualification and improving the customer service quality.

“More than twice as high growth in turnover is the result of the company activity optimization, improvement of the quality of services provided, successful cooperation with our partners, and adjusted expansion of the representative offices network,” states the Chairman of BPC Travel Gvidas Aukštuolis.

According to him, the company plans to continue the development of its airline ticket sales portal Skrisk.lt and travel operator Flyturas as well as develop new projects.

“We view the current travel market situation in a realistic light, so we do not plan any significant growth. And yet we’ll strive to preserve our position. This, as well as the last, year we are planning to pay much attention to increasing the level of our employees’ professional qualification and efficiency of the customer servicing,” says Mr. Aukštuolis.

BPC Travel is among the largest Lithuanian travel agencies that sells airline, ferry, train and bus tickets, and provides a complete range of services related to the organization of voyages, trips and journeys. Currently the company has its offices in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda.
