Aviation business group flyLAL Group Services AB acquired ground services company Baltic Ground Services UAB from investment company Invalda AB.

flyLAL Group Services AB is controlling companies, activities of which are related with provision of services for air companies and flight passengers: Avia Asset Management AB is engaged in aircraft acquisition and their long-term lease, flyLAL Technics AB provides technical aircraft maintenance services, BPC Travel UAB is a travel agency, flyLAL Training UAB is aviation specialists’ training centre, flyLAL Charters UAB is a charter flight company, Passenger Terminal UAB is an operator of passengers terminal. 

Baltic Ground Services UAB services flight passengers, searches for baggage, provide services to aircraft and cargoes. The company occupies 50% of the aircraft ground servicing market in Vilnius Airport. Baltic Ground Services also provides services in Kaunas and Riga international airports and has intentions of servicing clients and aircraft at Palanga airport. 

The company provides ground handling services to the following air companies: flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines, Finnair, Aer Lingus, LOT, Flysmaland, and other, as well as world`s leader in express delivery and logistics DHL.
In the course of three years of operation, Baltic Ground Services doubled its turnover.
