"We have mobilized all our forces to bring back passengers after four days of being grounded by a volcanic ash cloud. Working in close co-operation with tour operators we have returned all operations to normal and resumed all charter flights. Now we are ready to help other European airlines to face the enormous task of working through backlog and to get their passengers where they want to go", - said Vytautas Kaikaris, Chief Executive Office of flyLAL charters.
He stressed, that safety is the top priority of all operations. The air company has largely focused on aircrafts` airworthiness and maintains constant contacts with the meteorological offices and air traffic control services.
flyLAL charter`s aircraft fleet consists of four Boeing 737-300 and one Boeing 757-200, flights are carried out from Italy, Poland, Estonia and Lithuania.
