flyLAL charters Enters the Italian Charter Market 2010.02.19

Lithuanian air company flyLAL charters plans to establish new non-scheduled flights carrier in Italy. The new company will be registered in spring 2010 and plans to obtain the Air Operator`s Certificate (AOC) for the 2010-2011 winter flight season. The Italian air charter broker Aeroservizi will become exclusive sales agent of the new air company.

We are working together for a several years and now are feeling strong enough to start the local company which will offer the best price for the European quality and a greater choice of flight destinations", - says Vytautas Kaikaris, CEO of  flyLAL charters.

Lithuanian company flyLAL charter and Italian air charter broker Aeroservizi started cooperation several years ago and had only the summer time flight programmes.

This year flyLAL charters continues summer flight programme and will carry out charter flights from Milan to most popular holiday destinations in Italy and Greece by two Boeing 737-300 type aircraft with local crew on board. By the year 2012 the number of the aircraft will be doubled.

According to Mr. Kaikaris, despite the economic downturn, the last year was successful for flyLAL charters. In 2009 company carried 0.5 million passengers and reached over EUR 46 million revenue.

This year flyLAL charters also plans to enter Poland`s charter market. The company flyLAL charters PL Sp. z.o.o. was registered in December 2009 and started process of certifying for Air Operator`s Certificate (AOC), which is expected to be received by the end of April 2010.
